Lille 2020 - World Design Capital

In 2020, Lille was named World Design Capital by the World Design Organization — a first for a French city. This title highlighted the region’s ambition to use design as a driver for innovation in society, the economy, and the environment.

Throughout the year, over 600 collaborative projects were launched to tackle major challenges like ecological transition, urban planning, social inclusion, mobility, and digital transformation.
I took part in this ambitious initiative, contributing to a design-led approach focused on experimentation, collaboration, and real impact. Lille became a true design laboratory, where creativity met public innovation to shape a better, more sustainable future.
